Slumber seals all in life
And opens a world in rest
Life seems to be put to test
When the entity takes another shape

The one in sleep steps
Into a space of eternal brightness
But leaves behind a living world
And few grieving souls

The world grieves only to remember
The one in sleep will never be a part
